#6 Racing-Home

It's been a great start to the 2008 season for the 6 Modified Team. First three races we came home with three top tens. An 8th, 7th, and 2nd place finishes have made it fun for the fans and entire crew! Despite having some engine problems the last two races, finishes have not been too bad. We hope we have all motor issues resolved we will make the trip up North to Thunder Road for Saturday's practice sesion and for the race on Sunday. We made a special trip to Monadnock last week and we feel we have the 6 Modified back up to full speed. Rumors are Thunder Road is very close to Monadnock Speedway where we run strong most of the time, so hopefully this can carry over this weekend! I forgot one person at the Monadnock interview as I usually do under pressure, but needed to thank Russ Hersey for selling us a great set of shocks this year "and" setting them up for us! This had made a big improvement on the handling for the entire 100 laps. The car is staying more consistant from last year where I was fighting with it for the second part of the race last year. Thank You Russ again for your help!! Also big Thank You's to Roy Blake who said he was here very little this year, but hasn't missed a race yet, and to new arrival Jim who has been a great addition to the team!!!!!! The crew has been keeping up with the car preparations as I have been busy finishing up my home addition that was supposed to be done years ago, and I can't Thank them enough!
